Include Choir

When I saw the Include Choir at KindFest I knew I wanted to share them on Time for Kindness. The Include Choir support people with communication disabilities and is led by Speech therapists. They have so many wonderful songs using Makaton signs and even online inclusive meetings so everyone can join in. Find out more

Jodi Ann Bickley – kindness superhero

Meet Kindness Superhero Jodi Ann Bickley who writes hugs in an envelope to people. An avid letter writer, author, doodler, mum and over thinker, Jodi writes letters to people to share some love and kindness with them. A local Facebook group came together to support their pharmacists in a real show of community and kindness. The original post said “Just to let members know the queue for the pharmacy is very long if you need prescriptions, I’m about 40th in the queue.” Replies soon came in saying how cheerful the staff remain,

Community warm spaces

The Warm Spaces Project seems to me to be a fantastic example of kindness. Both the offering of warm spaces and the initiative to build a directory so that people can find the spaces near them. I also hope it is an act of kindness for us to tell you lovely people about the directory
