“After 30 years of trying I finally got a place in this year’s London Marathon. I did all the training after having foot operations and a hip replacement, it wasn’t ideal.
By mile 16 I was struggling with my ankle, it had had enough! An amazing spectator asked me if I would like an ankle support.
I did, and he helped fit it as I couldn’t bend down at that point!
I’m amazed at the point I needed it some very kind person happened to be there.
Thank you for helping me achieve my dream without pain!”
Huge well done to Jo who sent this in on completing the London marathon and what a wonderful, kind stranger you found along the way.
