Lucy got in touch to tell us about some kindness she witnessed at Blackfriars train station in London.
She saw a member of Transport for London staff helping an elderly couple who were a bit confused about how to top up an Oyster card and what ticket to get.
Lucy said that this man didn’t just deal with their initial question, he kept adding things to be helpful, such as ‘do you know what to do now’, ‘when you get there you will need to go up the stairs’ etc.
He didn’t rush them, he was attentive and not distracted by anything else going on at the busy station.
Lucy says it was a demonstration of doing your job kindly “he was doing his job with an extra sprinkling.”
Well done Lucy for spotting this above and beyond kindness – what kindness have you seen this week?
