My Dad has always enjoyed gardening but is finding it much harder as he is aging to keep on top of things. So he now has a gardener called Freddie to help with the ‘heavy’ work.
Freddie was admiring all the wooden planters in the garden and Dad told him that he had made them but now he had run out of wood and could no longer get it from the places he used to be able to go (it’s old pallet wood).
The next time he came, Freddie brought a load of off-cuts of wood he had for Dad to use to make some more. We were really touched!
