Rent money

On hearing a friend was facing eviction, an anonymous kindness champion loaned him some money to stop that happening. What a huge kindness that made such a big difference to his life.

Kind colleagues

Stef has some wonderfully kind colleagues, specifically one who brought in some gluten free custard creams because she remembered Stef was gluten free. And one on reception who opens the doors automatically when he sees her coming. How kind is your workplace?

A kind farmer

“We were camping on a farm and the farmer let my 12 year old have a go driving the little farm truck around the field. It made his day.” Thank you Ellie for sharing such a lovely kindness from her holiday.

Do you find joy in singing? Here’s a kindness for you – letting yourself do things that bring you joy, even if you’re not “good” at them is such a powerful self kindness. And the amazing Tuneless Choir has an online group which allows you to ‘sing like no one is listening’ from the comfort

Being sporting is kind

Would you sacrifice the chance of a big win to help someone else? That’s what Romain Bardet did during the Liege-Bastogne-Liege cycling race this year. After a huge crash which saw Julian Alaphilippe, another Frenchman but from a different team, hit a tree and land in a ditch, Bardet chose to go and check on

Tanni Grey Thompson shows sports is kindness as much as competition.

For all the competition in sport there’s a lot of kindness too as Tanni Grey Thompson shared on the Comfort Eating Podcast. While talking to Grace Dent, Tanni talked about a time when she was at the Paralympics and gave advice to a really young athlete who was in the same house as her at

Reading Community Cup

Kindness is fun and The Reading Community Cup proved it! “The Reading Community Cup was absolutely awesome! So proud to see so many people coming together at the University.
