Christmas lights make kindness shine

“I would like to say thank you for the people who live between Nos 38 and 45 for their Xmas lights. It really brightens up the evening” This post was shared in the local Facebook group and I thought it was a wonderful demonstration of a small act of kindness that makes people feel appreciated.

Serious illness highlights kindness of neighbours.

Recently a very close friend of mine was rushed to hospital after being taken unwell very unexpectedly. This resulted in her having a serious operation, staying in hospital for a couple of weeks and with a long recovery ahead of her. She contacted me to tell me how she and her family have been overwhelmed
