Refugee teens pose for photos like normal teenage boys.

“We have refugees staying across the road and I noticed some of the teenager boys had got all dressed up and were helping each other pose and taking photos of each other. It was so lovely to watch them showing each other kindness – and more so knowing that they are safe enough to do […]

Next door neighbour lends their bike

“My next door neighbour lent me her bike when mine got a puncture and I didn’t have time to get it repaired before I needed to make a journey by bike. It saved me a longer walk in the dark.” Want to spread kindness? Share our posts to remind others how much kindness there is

Bank Holiday kindness to cyclists.

On the Bank Holiday weekend we went for a 7 mile walk along the canal from Newbury. The tow path was really narrow in places so we regularly stood aside to let cyclists go past. One of them told us that there were 5 more people on bikes coming behind him so we knew to

Bus driver lets 2 passengers travel for free.

“A bus driver let 2 passengers travel for free after the bus number changed. They pulled up at the stop and changed numbers to go elsewhere, they came and told the driver they needed to pay again to go to their next stop and he said no, it’s fine.” Remind yourself how often kindness like

Neighbours bring in bins.

Our neighbours took our empty bins in and kept them in their garage until we got home a week later. We went on holiday on bin day and we’d had time to put the bins out but not to collect them in after they’d been emptied. Even more stories of kindness to brighten your day:

“The other day I was exploring a new part of town and I was trying to walk down a narrow footpath just as the kids were coming out of the local school – I moved over and waited to let them all by as there wasn’t much room – there must’ve been a trail of
