What team Time for Kindness is looking forward to at KindFest 23

What I love most about KindFest is that the speakers are doing such a wide range of things, all connected to kindness. From authors to activists to researchers to business people to TV and radio presenters to charity founders (and more). NHS kindness inspires art

“In January 2020, my husband had a very serious bike accident, needing major surgery and then months of physical rehabilitation, just when Covid and lockdowns started. The medical care he received at St Mary’s Hospital was second to none but, more than that, the kindness shown to him, and to me, by all the hospital

She has set up numerous after school clubs, including a very successful feminism society which has seen many school policies challenged to the appreciation and benefit of the student body. She is also training our very own

Bell ringer gets graduate to train on time.

“On Friday 15th September I graduated Henley Business school. My husband and I ordered a taxi for 5pm to take us to the train station for our train at 6pm. This was the first of 4 trains we needed to catch to get back home to Yorkshire. We booked it early as there are roadworks

Dog walker provides poo bag!

“I was out walking my dog and came across another dog-walker who had run out of poo bags. I gave her a spare one I had.” I love this proof that even these small acts we can overlook are a kindness! What tiny act of kindness have you seen today? More small kindnesses that made

This lovely lady gave me the most adorable smile and giggle. She sat quietly amongst the rubble left by the fight on one of the main routes near the town of Ichnya where Russian forces had surrounded an agricultural community of 10,000 and used to gain ground towards the capital – Kyiv. Free bags at Aldi make a difference during cost of living crisis.

“My local Aldi were spending the afternoon giving out free bags, the lady in front of me was so grateful, £2 makes a huge difference if you are struggling.” What small kindness have you seen this week? The kindness of Langdyke Countryside Trust volunteers

The volunteers of Langdyke Countryside Trust look after 8 nature reserves close to where I live. Many of the reserves are brownfield sites, now supporting a huge variety of wildlife. This sculpture is a Medicine Cabinet inspired by the care, kindness and hard work that Langdyke’s volunteers lavish on those nature reserves. Their work is

Virtual Assistant goes the extra mile to support another VA.

“I recently reached out to a high-profile VA Mentor/Coach, asking if they’d be open to promoting my new guide for VAs in their Facebook Group. Not only did they happily agree, but this generous act allowed me to tap into their audience, leading to a significant boost in sales that I otherwise might not have
