Locals help when auntie has a fall in the street.

Large red poppies with names written on them tied to lamp posts and traffic lights along a road beside a pub.

“Just to say a big thank you to all the wonderful people who came to help my auntie today when she had a fall.

People came from everywhere to help. She’s a bit shaken up, but seems ok and is enjoying a cup of tea at her daughters.

After we drove off I realised I was in such a kerfuffle, I didn’t say thank you to anyone. I’m so sorry. Thank you again Xx.”

This post was spotted in a Facebook group by one of our kindness ambassadors and it counts towards our kindness scavenger hunt – which it’s not too late to take part in. Just post about the moments of kindness you see, however small, and tag us for the opportunity to win a prize!

Scavenger hunt ends on World Kindness Day (13th November).
