kindness is contagious

A tweet from Sarah reading "Anyone got any tips for getting over covid brain scrambling?! It's the weirdest thing - physically better but my brain can't concentrate or think straight." A close up of a covid cell behind it.

Brain fog tips

I’ve been recovering from covid and received so much kind advice when I asked for tips on dealing with brain fog. Not only many lovely tweets but several people emailed me with things they find helpful for dealing with the brain fog they get that isn’t covid related but due to other conditions they have […]

Festival goers are friends to the environment

Let’s celebrate the kindness of both attendees and organisers at Underneath the Stars Festival who after 4 days had only 1 small bag of rubbish to dispose of! What a great kindness to the environment, the other attendees and the organisers that everyone disposed of their own rubbish! The festival happened over 50 acres and

Small business huddle

My friend Debs told me about how kind and welcoming everyone at her networking group was when they met up in person for the first time last week. They had met and started to build connections online. Debs was one of the first to arrive, feeling a little bit nervous, and the excited waves she

The power of thanks

“I wrote to our IVF clinic at the end of our journey with them to thank them for the support and kindness they had shown us over the years. I particularly mentioned our nurse who had been with us for the last 3 years of our time with them.Unbeknown to us she was leaving the

Small kindness, big community

“I love finding these painted rocks, there’s a Facebook group for them in Llantwit because they’re such a big thing. Everyone’s excited to find them.” How beautiful to have a whole community excited and connected by something as small as painted rocks. No kindness is too small and this story from Caz proves the power

Random Acts of Kindness Day 2022

A reminder that kindness doesn’t need to cost anything this Random Acts of Kindness Day. The kindness of smiling at a stranger in the street is powerful. Just as giving a loved one a bear hug can make them feel less alone. Or replying to a post on social media just to tell someone how

Day 17 – tell your story

Day 3: Amplify kindness: A joyful story of connection to make us all smile on a Friday afternoon. My friend, Debs, went for her covid booster this morning. She was given the Moderna vaccine. She got chatting to an Italian gentleman in the queue and they were reading through the possible side effects. He laughed

Positive message

I recently heard about this wonderful story of kindness. During the covid lockdowns, mum and beauty business owner, Cassandra Baker, and her 2 children sent cards with positive messages to anyone they felt was in need of a kind word. They made the cards themselves and added in positive words and affirmations to make people
