My friend Debs told me about how kind and welcoming everyone at her networking group was when they met up in person for the first time last week.
They had met and started to build connections online. Debs was one of the first to arrive, feeling a little bit nervous, and the excited waves she got as she walked up to the meeting spot started the whole thing off in a really positive way.
Group members were really kind and considerate with each other, wanting to hug out of excitement but also checking to see who was comfortable with that and respecting those who weren’t.
