Remembrance day poppy kindness

Large red poppies with names written on them tied to lamp posts and traffic lights along a road beside a pub.

At Team Time for Kindness we take this opportunity to remember those who courageously gave their lives.

In addition to this thanks and remembrance, we’d like to highlight 2 particular elements of kindness in relation to Remembrance Day this year:

1) All the volunteers who give up their time to sell poppies to the public, on the streets and at train stations and so on. Being a volunteer always involves kindness of some sort.

2) The new-design 2023 poppy shows kindness to the environment. The Royal British Legion has produced a plastic-free poppy, made entirely from paper that is completely recyclable at home.
