Parkrun volunteer goes to Burnley instead of Witton – but another volunteer covers for her leading to her agreeing to repay this kindness next week!

“Confession time. I was on my way to Burnley parkrun, checked my email, saw the volunteer update for Witton parkrun and realised I was down for giving out tokens at Witton. Too late to turn round and go back so I sent a grovelling message to the WhatsApp group and Annika was able to cover for me. I’ll be repaying this kindness next week!”
