“A business owning couple locally have started a community pantry to help locals during the cost of living and help save the planet.
Stuart and Amy started the pantry after their zero waste store was forced to close. They use their contacts from having the store to buy food in bulk from wholesalers and pass the savings on to customers who are able to buy part of a large bag at wholesale price.
On Pantry day everyone meets and works together to weigh out all the items into paper bags, picks up their orders, has a nice chat and then goes home.
There is so much kindness on show in every part of this endeavour I knew I had to tell Time for Kindness about it!”
