a covered vaccination needle with a label on it reading injection, influenza vaccination, beside a pot with a comirnaty omicron label on it.

“I went to a pharmacy to grab some co-codamol and happened to ask if they were also doing private flu jabs. They were so I filled out the form.

The pharmacist took me in to do the jab and said they can give me an NHS one because I have long covid and have been quite severely disabled by it. I said I didn’t think I qualified and she said I didn’t but the pharmacist has discretion and she thinks it’d be better if I didn’t get flu so gave me an NHS one.
