Group of 30 teenagers all express gratitude to passer by.

Three teenagers in school uniform in a line walking along a road talking, behind them are more chatting to each other. Text overlaid reads “Group of 30 teenagers all express gratitude to passer by.”

“The other day I was exploring a new part of town and I was trying to walk down a narrow footpath just as the kids were coming out of the local school – I moved over and waited to let them all by as there wasn’t much room – there must’ve been a trail of about 30 kids, and to my surprise almost all of them looked at me and said thank you.

I wasn’t expecting to even be acknowledged by a group of teenagers, let alone for them to express their thanks towards what was a simple gesture, but it actually made my day.”

We share stories of kindness by teenagers regularly to help challenge the popular view of them – big thank you to Becky of The Mindful Gingernut for sending this in so we could add it to our growing collection of teenager stories!
