Couple help out stranger after tyre deflates.

a warning triangle on the ground in the foreground. In the background, out of focus, two people stand at the back of a car, one on the phone, the other holding a tool. Text overlaid reads “couple help out stranger after tyre deflates.”

“Driving home from work I drove over something, a few miles down the road my low pressure tyre light came on. My journey is on country roads but luckily I was passing Cowdray Forest (the only safe stop for a good few miles) and on a lovely afternoon it was busy.

By this time my tyre was hissing and on pulling the object out my tyre deflated with an even louder hiss!

Nearly 40 years of driving and this was a 1st!  Time to call the @therac_uk….

I went over to a couple to confirm my location, explained the situation and immediately Ian asked me if I had a spare and offered to change my tyre and Steph asked me if I had a pump (which I do) but offered theirs if I didn’t.

Without the kindness of this couple and the patience of their two dogs waiting to go for their walk my journey home would have been a lot longer & stressful.”
