Co-op and Change Link return lost €1200.

an envelope with a thick wad of Euros fanned out from it.

“I went to London on Friday 14th Feb, and purchased 1200€ in cash from the foreign exchange bureau at Victoria station. I then went for a lovely lunch in Farringdon. We got the train home to Brighton early evening.

On arriving home I checked my handbag and realised that the money was not in my bag. Panic set in, after a sleepless night, I called the foreign exchange bureau first thing. They hadn’t heard anything but I left my contact details.

I called all the other places I had been. I was just about to get a train to London to retrace my steps, when the phone rang and the man at the foreign exchange bureau called to say that the coop in Farringdon had found my money. They had checked the cctv and saw me leave it on the counter whilst I purchased something.

They called the foreign exchange branch to see if they had my contact details. Imagine my relief!

I am so grateful to both Jordan at change link, Victoria, and all the staff that were working at the coop in Farringdon on Friday.”

Oh Julie, what a stressful day for you but what a testament to the kindness of people. We hope you also managed to get this to Sara Cox so she can celebrate this wonderful story of kindness too.
