Bethany England shows what kindness in football looks like.

A TV showing the two football players talking to each other.

“During the first half of Chelsea vs Spurs one of the Spurs players had to be stretchered off the pitch with an ankle injury following a collision with 20-year-old Chelsea player, Maika Hamano.

It was entirely accidental, no-one’s fault, just one of those things that happens when you play a contact sport like football.

When the half-time whistle went, Spurs’ captain, Bethany England, went over to Hamano and had a quiet word with her, clearly to reassure her that it wasn’t her fault.

It was such a kind thing to do!”
