When Dawn was waiting in A&E for over 5 hours while in a lot of pain, she was thrilled to meet Archie, a cat who visits the hospital to comfort patients.
Dawn shared her story with me “I was in so much pain due to gallstones but then we got a visit from the famous Archie who is a local ginger tom cat who visits hospital regularly to comfort the patients and staff.
I believe he does it out of kindness plus he loves attention and cuddles!
It was such a lovely thing to see a packed room all happy to see a cat and it helped me forget about my pain.
It reminded me that animals are capable of great acts of kindness 🐱🐈🐾😺🐈⬛.”
