Stranger pays for Wendy’s during year of kindness.

a person with blonde hair and light skin tone taking a photo in the rear view mirror of their car. A white car is visible in the mirror, a black car through the front window. They are in the queue at Wendy's drive thru.

“I swung into Wendy’s to get a soda and I wondered if the young guy behind me was looking at my new bumper sticker: ‘I hope something good happens to you today.’

And then I thought – what if I do the something good? So, I paid for his meal.

If you have never paid for the person behind you because you are nervous about the cost, you can just ask the cashier. My guy spent $6 so it was an easy yes! And there is no awkward communication because you have already gotten your food and are gone by the time the car behind you picks up their order. It’s a cash and dash kindness.”

This wonderful story of kindness comes from Francesca Donlan who is on day 160 of a year of kindness!
