A collection of posts that show how we are part of a bigger #teamkind when we act with kindness. These stories tell us about the positive things that people do to be kind to others.

Level up your business with kindness.

Kindness is a key leadership skill and among other things it can make the difference between your business hiring the very best or being bottom of the list to apply to. After attending one of our workshops, The Holy Brook accountants had this to say: “One major takeaway for our team was reframing kindness as […]

Kindness and cake from a colleague.

“I was having ‘one of those days’ when everything at work seemed to be a problem – IT not working, an impromptu and time consuming meeting, a couple of grumpy people on phone calls… By the afternoon, I was feeling a bit jaded and behind with my usual work. One of my work colleagues came

Aerobics teacher offers lift.

I was dashing along to my aerobics class, late as usual, and the teacher stopped to give me a lift (she lives 2 minutes from the venue and had had to pop up to pick up something she’d forgotten). What kindness have you received this week? Get inspired with even more acts of kindness: Friend

Help with suitcase.

On the train to Worthing, I noticed someone helping another passenger lift her suitcase off the train (it looked very heavy!) Tell us about a kind act you spotted today. On the main desk sits a pink keyboard and a huge glass mug with coffee in it and a planner open with headphones resting on it. Friend drops off laptop stand.

“A friend was getting rid of a laptop stand he didn’t need anymore and offered it to me. I said yes please and he dropped it off the next time he visited (we do not live nearby!) and it’s been super helpful. Now I can watch High Rollers while I’m working! It’s also useful for

Bird expert tells stranger what type of bird they’re looking at.

We were admiring some little birds sitting at the water’s edge by the marine lake at West Kirby. A passerby heard us talking about them and stopped to tell us that they were called turnstones. Friend lends desk adjuster

My friend has leant me a sit/stand desk adjuster that she’s not using at the moment, because I have a stiff neck. She knew I had created a make shift one with an ironing board and a laundry basket – which wasn’t the safest of methods! How have your friends shown you kindness this week?

Best friend considers sensory needs.

“My favorite act of kindness to recieve is when my best friend considers my sensory needs without having to ask for it.” This is such a lovely example of recognising kindness from those we may not notice it from because we expect it. A big thank you to the anonymous person on Mastodon who send
