A collection of posts that show how we are part of a bigger #teamkind when we act with kindness. These stories tell us about the positive things that people do to be kind to others.

Boys try to save pigeon.

“Some boys found and tried to help a pigeon which couldn’t fly and was under a car. In a local Facebook group later a post appeared to them providing an update that someone had caught it and taken it to the vets but they had to put it to sleep due to a broken wing. […]

A lush store. It’s dark with two large lights highlighting just some of the colourful bath bombs stacked around.

Lush staff give free gift in return for kindness.

“I popped into Lush to buy a couple of products. A lovely staff member gave me one product for free ‘as an act of kindness’.  Apparently it was because I’d asked them how they were. What a lovely end to a difficult day.” Big thanks to Chris who sent this to us via our Instagram. Check out

A woman with medium dark skin tone, her braided hair tied on top of her head in a bun, sits on a chair leaning forwards speaking to a woman with medium light skin tone and long dark hair who has a laptop and notebook in front of her as she listens to the other woman. Text overlaid reads “therapist provides resources for patient’s partner.”

Therapist provides resources for patient’s partner.

“My therapist knows my partner has depression. They asked me if I would like them to send me some resources for him to read, on depression – asking first too if he would be receptive to it and to ask him. Absolutely going above and beyond and so kind to do this for us both

Hikers group supports & reassures worried fat, disabled newbie.

“I joined a group for local hikers and I posted that I’m worried about being slow because I’m fat and disabled. So far, like three people have said ‘Me too!’ and told me I can message them when I’m going on a hike and they’ll walk with me.” Finding people who support you is so

Two boxes filled with things sitting on a floor. In the cardboard box a dusty bag sits on top of some other unidentifiable items ready for the tip. In the plastic box are some rubber gloves, a metal pole and other items.

Neighbour takes extra items to tip for non-driver.

As a non-driver, I cannot get to the tip with any rubbish that I can’t recycle, etc. I put a message in my road WhatsApp group and a very kind neighbour came and took my stuff with him on his own next tip run. Give us a follow on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn for daily

Two small fluffy dogs chewing on some bones from the butchers very happily.

Butchers give free dog bones.

“My local butcher sells bags of bones for dogs for £1 – I nipped in for some but didn’t have any cash so they let me have the bag for free. The dogs really appreciated it too!” There are so many amazing businesses out there showing kindness, we love to hear about them! TfL staff
