Vet supports anxious dog and owner.

“One of our dogs is very anxious at the vet. She was a rescue and although she’s come a long way, trips to the vet are really difficult for her. Today she had the best ever visit thanks to Josie, a senior nurse at Donview Vets. She worked with us to find the right relaxing

Free haircuts for unhoused men.

“There’s a lady barber in my neighborhood called Marta, who gives free haircuts to homeless men on Friday afternoons. Because she says that everyone feels better after a haircut.” This lovely story of kindness was shared by Madeleine and we love it. What kindness have you seen locally lately? Larkmead Vets Book Fairy.

“Whilst out walking my dog I came across a children’s story book (Topsy & Tim meet Father Christmas) by a signpost. It had been left there by the ‘Book Fairy’ from a local vets surgery for a child to find.  I thought this was a lovely kind gesture.” The note on the book reads “Congratulations!

“A whole bunch of people went out searching for Elrond, a lost cat in the neighbourhood. He was successfully found and the owner said ‘Thank you so much to everyone who helped and supported us through this. If one good thing came out of this, it’s how we got to see what a wonderful community

“We had about 10cm of snow here in Sheffield. After clearing our drive, we cleared our retired neighbours drive to help out. Turns out he had an injury, so was incredibly grateful. After this we helped our neighbours clear the drive of another retired neighbour, who is also the main carer for her husband. She
