Workplace journaling practice for team wellbeing.

A bright pink notebook with “amazing” written on it sits beside a bright pink pen, on a white table. Above it is a pile of multicoloured confetti and to the side is the corner of a white laptop with black keys.

“We started professional journaling as a team after we identified that our Senior Partner who heads up our Employment Team was over relied upon.

She’s a machine of a woman and a great role model and I think it actually started as a joke that we all wanted to be more like Sarah, so she set up some monthly ‘legacy lessons’ designed to share her wisdom with the team and encourage us in our self-development.

At the first ‘legacy lesson’ she gave us all the pink notebook and talked us through her professional journalling and how it helped her, it really struck a nerve with us all and we’ve all embraced it.

It soon became ‘think pink’ (our brand colour) and we take it in turns each week to post a journal prompt.”

This is a really great example of workplace kindness from Cath Dixon of Warner Goodman Solicitors. We’d love to hear what kindness happens in your workplace, so let us know.
