“I spotted a man in walking in the village, I was sure I recognised him. He was hesitant and looking around. I stopped car and asked if he was alright and he said “I’m looking for my wife, she’s confused but won’t have gone far.” He didn’t need any help and thanked me.
I drive home (just round corner) and decided something wasn’t right. I drove back to find him and stopped. Chatted a little more and then suggested he get in the car, I would take him home to see if his wife was there. He agreed and got in the car.
I asked for directions, he started to direct me. It became quickly apparent he didn’t know where he lived. I decided to take him home for a cup of tea.
His phone rang, I stopped the car and he passed me his phone. It was his son and mum looking for him. All well, that ends well 💓”
