Three kindnesses in one morning

Screenshot of a LinkedIn post from Phil which reads “I had a heartening chat this week with the very wonderful Sarah Browning who is passionately engaged in what may seem to be a huge task, which is to highlight how much positive impact kindness can have, and how that impact can ripple through the world. This morning I stopped off at a cafe for a coffee and sandwich. I have to use a walking stick, and noticing that, the lady next to me in the queue offered to carry my tray to my table. Which she did. So now I'm creating my own ripples by sharing this here. It's these small and simple acts of kindness that can have the biggest effects. They cost us nothing, they may take only a few seconds, but they can brighten someone's day.”

Phil shared on LinkedIn about three kindnesses he’d received in just one morning;

”This morning I stopped off at a cafe for a coffee and sandwich. I have to use a walking stick, and noticing that, the lady next to me in the queue offered to carry my tray to my table. Which she did.

A guy also held a door open for me, and the checkout assistant at Lidls put the heavy stuff in my bag for me.

So now I’m creating my own ripples by sharing this here. It’s these small and simple acts of kindness that can have the biggest effects. They cost us nothing, they may take only a few seconds, but they can brighten someone’s day.”
