Mum was really looking forward to her WI Christmas lunch at a local pub. Unfortunately she came down with a bad cold and wasn’t able to go – although she was feeling better on the day, she didn’t want to spread germs.
So that she didn’t miss out, the pub packed up her lunch in takeaway containers and a friend delivered to her house for her to heat up at home.
