Safely fitting a gas cooker

A smiling gas fitter standing by a gas cooker with all 4 rings burning

I love this story I saw on Facebook recently, from Winter Night Shelter MK, a charity supporting the homeless, vulnerable and those with mental health struggles in Milton Keynes

“We wanted to say a huge thank you to Steadman Farley from Farley’s Heating and Plumbing Services.

“Steadman contacted us offering his services for free to install a gas cooker for a re-homed former guest. The guest had been gifted a cooker but could not afford a gas safe engineer to install it.

“Steadman said ‘I always believe in helping the less fortunate, because you never know what people are going through or have been through’.

“The gentleman is very appreciative he now has a working gas cooker and safety certificate👍.

“Thank you Steadman for your kindness 😊”
