I was spending time with my Dad while Mum was in Specsavers having her post-cataract eye test.
He was starting to get anxious about where she was and how long she would be, so I took him into the ‘pound shop’ in our precinct because it has so many different items and I thought it would distract him for a bit.
The shop owner seemed to realise the situation with Dad and was really kind to him, telling him he was welcome to browse for as long as he liked.
