“I live at Charterhouse London and an important part of the life here is eating together as a community. The brilliant kitchen team, as well as supplying fabulous food, are also marvelous in other ways. For instance, they noticed that I am left handed and so at each meal, I swapped my knife and fork over to suit me. This is no big issue. However, they have started laying out my place setting the ‘wrong’ way, with the knife on the left. This is a tiny action which is so thoughtful and helpful.”
