New Zealand stranger makes up the cost of a paper.

a road in a suburban area of Waikato, New Zealand on a sunny day with wispy white clouds in the sky. On the left side are white buildings with perfectly manicured lawns and a woodland or forest behind them. On the right is a metal fence with bushes the other side of it and more white buildings.

We hear lots of stories about strangers being kind, just like this one:

“Mum and dad staying, I went to get a paper for dad. Before I snuck out on my bike ride I took $4 (shows I don’t buy papers).

$1:50 short. Bugger!

A man behind me, big frame, stern face, shaved head, tattoos, in a heartbeat said ‘I got it mate and paid the difference!

Blew me away. That gives you faith in humanity.

Don’t judge a book by its cover, we are all human, deep down we are all the same 💜

That is kindness and gratitude in action 🙏🏽”

This lovely story of everyday kindness was shared over on LinkedIn by Andrew Jones.
