“My lovely neighbour, Sian, very kindly offers to pop in to check on my elderly dog if I am out all day. If I do ask her, invariably she goes above and beyond, going in twice – or occasionally taking him out for an extra walk if I am held up.
Living alone, and having inherited this gorgeous boy from my late mother a few months ago, it means so much to have her support when I am busy juggling work with probate and a house sale.”
