“I have some neighbors across the hall. We don’t really hang out on a regular basis, but we have interacted a few times. She helped me out back in 2022 when there was a fire in my building and I needed to get out quickly. She took my Chihuahua, so that the firemen could grab me and get me out of the building. She was actually going to grab onto me herself right when he showed up.
I guess what I’m trying to say is a little bit of kindness goes the whole way. That being said, tonight she brought me over some food that they had extra of after tonight‘s meal, with no asking on my part.”
