Kindness Research Centre Launch

‘Notice the kindness around you’ was the top tip from author, broadcaster and lecturer, Claudia Hammond, at the launch event for the Sussex Centre for Research on Kindness last night.

Team TfK member Steph Oldham and I went to the event virtually. We were delighted to hear that message from Claudia of course, it’s our fundamental principle. Time for Kindness was set up to encourage people to see the kindness in the world around us and inspire hope and positivity.

Hearing from Centre founder Professor Robin Banerjee and the other panellists at the event was inspiring. My gut feeling has always been that people are generally kind, there’s a lot of kindness out there and we can learn techniques to see it and be it even more.

Finding out about research that gives a body of evidence to back that up was a delight!
