Kindness in Exmouth during holiday.

Holly, a small dog with longish golden fur, perky ears and fluffy tail standing on Exmouth beach looking towards the camera with her mouth open as if she’s smiling.

“I was staying at a friend’s house in Exmouth in Devon for a few days while they were away (letting me use their place = first kindness).

I walked down into the town with my dog for a look around but got lost trying to find the way back. I was starting to panic about what to do, then I noticed I had cut my toe and there was blood all over my flip flop. I went back into town and was directed to a nearby Tesco to buy some plasters. The security guard took one look at me and before I knew it, he and his colleagues were looking after me, using the first aid kit to patch up my toe and buying me chocolate.

And the final kindness was that another shopper insisted on getting their car and driving me back to my friend’s house where I was staying.”

What a stressful start to your holiday Nicky, we’re so glad to hear that the kindness of those in Exmouth improved things.

Remind yourself that kindness exists everywhere with even more examples:

Village local helps lost man get home.
