Kindness at the River Thames

a lock on the River Thames the gates of which are closed. It is a sunny day with some white clouds in the blue sky.

I was sitting by a lock on the River Thames and I noticed a boat come through and then start to do a strange reverse manouver. Then the man driving the boat called out to someone on the other side of the river and asked her to press the button to close the gates.

I realised he was trying to reverse to press the button himself but when she kindly did it for him he carried on down the river.

What kindness have you seen today?
