Arcade tickets given to strangers.

An amusement arcade with some slot machines in the foreground and other machines in the background.

“In half term, my friend and I decided to go swimming and afterwards we thought we would have a go at a couple of the arcade games in the arcade in the next building.

The way it works is after each game you get a certain amount of blue tickets, which you can then trade in for something. However, due to the nature of an arcade you have to rack up a lot of tickets for it to be worth anything. As we only played a few games for fun, it wasn’t worth much.

My friend saw a group of boys who had built up a massive pile of them and so we agreed that we would give our tickets to them as it would be worth more to them.

We didn’t stick around to see what they got, but they seemed very grateful and I’m sure they got something cool at the end!”

A big thank you to Bekah for sending this story in and good on you for spreading kindness at the arcade!
