Paddington train staff go above and beyond.

Two women sat at a cafe table. One is tall with light skin tone and short, dark, curly hair, wearing a a light pink jumper. She has beautiful sparkly nails with black cats on them. The other has light skin tone and bright pink hair tied back. She is wearing a yellow knitted cardigan, a very short playsuit and a sunflower lanyard. The are leaning into each other and smiling at the camera. On the table in front of them is a small plate with a slice of banana bread on it and a reusable pink coffee cup decorated in flowers.

“The train staff were so kind on my birthday trip to London. The most notable moment being that we had struggled to get a taxi back to the station and arrived cutting it very fine.

The passenger assist man rushed my girlfriend and I to the train and made them hold it while he got the ramp out so I could get on.

If he hadn’t, we’d have had to wait around for an hour at the station and been very late home; it was nearly 11 by the time we finally got home.

A huge thank you to all the Great Western Railway staff, and the lovely conductor on the Transport for Wales train that got us to Cardiff, for being so kind and helpful and making the travel on my birthday trip a little less stressful than it could have been!”

We hear a lot about kindness on public transport, this is just the latest. Where have you seen kindness recently?
