“I was heading into Cardiff in my wheelchair on the train. I hadn’t booked passenger assist as there is nobody on staff at my local station and you can only book it a minimum of 2 hours ahead.
The train conductor happily got the ramp out for me so I could get on but then, once he’d done everything he needed to do, he came and sat with me and put me into the passenger assist system to try to make sure someone would get me at Cardiff.
It was so kind of him as I can’t do it as the passenger at short notice. He was also just really friendly and lovely, checking I would be ok to get out of the station and if I needed any other support.”
When did you last notice someone going above and beyond in their work? This story from Alexis Bushnell happened just last week.
