We absolutely love hearing about businesses being kind and recently someone told us about Lego’s fantastic MRI scanner set which they created for and donate to hospitals and health settings.
The kit is being used by healthcare providers to reduce the anxiety around MRIs for children; allowing them to get familiar with the environment before they go in for real.
Kids and parents alike have said how much the set has helped them relax about the procedure, which has been a real positive for healthcare workers too.
According to Lego, “Since 2023, the model has supported more than one million children with their scans in hospitals across four continents.”
What a wonderful kindness from such a big company.
