Fellow parent shows kindness at Asda.

View across lots of Asda checkouts with staff sat at each and conveyor belts filled with items way into the distance. It looks like a busy shopping day.]

“I was scanning my shopping at the ASDA self-checkout, toddler in the trolley, baby asleep in the sling. You have to bend down a long way to reach into the trolleys and also to put your shopping in the bagging area, which is tricky while baby wearing, but there are never many proper tills open so it’s still quicker.

Another mum walked past towards the exit with her trolley full of shopping she’d already paid for and her own child walking next to her. She saw me and offered to scan my shopping for me.

I’m used to doing it so it’s not too hard anymore and I said no thank you but it made my day that she made such a kind offer ❤️”

A big thank you to Matilda for sending in this lovely example of everyday kindness for us to share.
