Oracle shopping centre in Reading staffed by kind people.

a room with two tables scattered with paper in it and seats around them in which several people are sitting. A TV screen is mounted on one wall showing a slide with Time for Kindness branding on it. In the corner is a tall Time for Kindness sign beside which Sarah is standing. and talking to someone who is sat on a chair beside the sign.

The Learnalot session I ran for Connect Reading took place in the management suite of the Oracle shopping centre in Reading.

As with many shopping centres, there are different levels and different connections with car parks. I’d been told the offices were next to one of the car park levels and which lift I had to use, but I wasn’t confident with where I was going.

A member of the security team spotted me looking a bit lost and guessed that I was trying to find the event – he spoke to me and helped me find the right way to go. I also overheard him telling a colleague about the event and asking him to keep an eye out for other people who might also be lost.
