Passerby at lake shares the time.

a large, beautiful lake stretches out towards a forest in the distance. The sky above is light blue.

We were walking round the lake near our house before my parents came over to visit for a cuppa. We realised neither of us had brought our phone with us, so we had no idea what the time was!

We asked a passerby for the time and he got his own phone out of his pocket to check.

No kindness is too small to celebrate – and this is a great example of why. That small, easy to overlook act, made our life a little easier and cost the passerby nothing.

A small, simple act of everyday kindness that shows how much exists in the world if we choose to look for it.

So what small act of kindness have you seen today?
