“I was traveling home from Frankfurt on a busy flight at the weekend, and all the overhead lockers were packed with luggage. We were in the last group to get on and nobody could find space for their luggage – I had to put mine several rows back from my seat. So when we landed I had resigned myself to having to wait for my luggage until people had gone past. But a man we had been chatting to in the bus that took us to the plane was sitting right next to where we’d put our luggage and passed it forward to us. Which was very kind of him and saved us time, and also meant we didn’t annoy anyone else by waiting or trying to get to the luggage.”
