Today’s kindness story for #VolunteersWeek2021 is a thank you to all the volunteers involved in youth football.
From coaches to referees and people running the line, from football club trustees to safeguarding officers and membership clerks. There are huge numbers of people who give up their time so that young people can play sport and have fun with their friends.
As the mother of a teen who loves playing football every week, I see first-hand the difference that these volunteers make. Thank you to you all, from the bottom of my heart.
