“My friend’s husband went to the builders’ merchants (he’s a carpenter). His van key is nearly broken and he hasn’t got round to getting it fixed yet, it’s always falling apart.
After making his purchases, as he went to his van, he noticed that the key had fallen apart again, so he squeezed it back together and managed to get into the van. Then he heard a shout behind him, there were a couple of women holding out a tiny circuit board, not much bigger than a thumb nail.
They’d seen him leave and seen it drop on the floor, the cashier explained to them that he’d just left. They sought him out to hand the tiny circuit board back to him, even though they were parked in a different section of the car park.”
What a wonderful act of everyday kindness – and maybe a nudge to get that key fixed very soon!
